Tester 960 P is designed to create and measure pressure and pressure vacuums in pipes, which
allows it to test the following:
Pressure sensors of the fuel system
Wastegate (overpressure) valves in turbo engines
Electronic injection pressure regulating valves at low pressure
Servo brakes
Condition of the cylinder head and pistons (an engine in good condition results in a pressure
vacuum in the induction manifold, ranging from 0.5 bar to 0.7 bar)
To use the tester in the pressure vacuum mode, turn the knob to IN (Fig. 1); to use it in the
pressure mode, turn the knob to OUT (Fig. 2). The tester is fitted with a bar-psi gauge where you
can read the pressure/vacuum pressure value that has been created or measured.
